If possible, spend today in quiet prayer, praying for those who receive Sacraments of Initiation tonight and that you will have renewed strength to live your baptismal call.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.

On the night before he died, Jesus instituted the Sacrament of the Eucharist at his Last Supper with his friends. Pray for the grace to be ever aware of Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist.

“Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is to come! Hosanna in the highest!”

As we celebrate Saint Joseph, pray for all fathers, that God may grant eternal rest to those who have died and strengthen the living with love for their families and commitment to their vocation.

Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. (John 12:25)

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Lent comes providentially to reawaken us, to shake us from our lethargy.
